Project Runway

                   Project Runway is an American reality television series on Lifetime Television, previously on the Bravo network, which focuses on fashion design and is hosted by model Heidi Klum. The contestants compete with each other to create the best clothes and are usually restricted in time, materials, and theme. Their designs are judged and one or more designers are eliminated each week.

                  Designers are put to develop one or several pieces of new clothing to be presented at a runway show on every challenge.

                     The challenges are made for :
- develop their creative
- diversity
- testing the designers' ingenuity
- develop their personal design

   These challenges may include creating a garment from non-traditional materials, such as: methalic obsects, recyclable materials ,apartment furnishings , plants and flowers , edible food items , items from a grocery store and many other materials which you do not think that you could use to make clothes ; to designing for a certain high-profile person (such as Britney Spears, Heidi Klum and many others), a corporate fashion line ( Macy's INC; Sarah Jessica Parker's Bitten), or centered around a specialized theme .
                     Female fashion models who work with the designers throughout the season are also in the competition.
                     Is a final challenge, for the remaining three designers and they must prepare a complete fashion collection of twelve looks to be presented at New York Fashion Week . The finalists are given 12 weeks and $8000 for this task, which they perform at their own homes or studios.

Lanvin 2010 Fall

Prin ținutele prezentate luna aceasta in Colecția de toamna 2010, Lanvin a reusit sa taie răsuflările tuturor.
Socheaza prin :
- combinatiile de materiale utilizate precum: piele ,matase ,pene , blana , etc ;
- croielile exceptionale ;
-paleta de culori utilizata ,punand accentul mai mult pe culorile negru , maro si grena ;
Prin tot ceea ce am mentionat mai sus pot spune ca aceasta noua colectie de toamna este una foarte atrăgătoare, care reuseste sa socheze prin materialele si accesoriile folosite.
Sunt de parere ca aceasta colectie Lanvin ne duce cu gandul la "indieni" (mai precis la povestea cu Pocahontas) , sa zic asa , cel putin prin materialele utilizate (pene , blana , accesorii , etc) si prin modul de prezentare a acestor vestimentatiilor pe podium .
Mi se pare o idee originala si sper ca multi alti designeri sa prezinte un stil asemanator ...
